I am so glad you are here. I am Kendra Bamforth, owner of Sharing is Caring, a world-wide essential oil community where our mission is to educate, support, and empower moms to feel confidence and control when it comes to their family's health & wellness!
what are essential oils?
Essential Oils are naturally aromatic compounds found in the seeds, bark, stems, roots, flowers, and other parts of plants. They are highly concentrated when distilled for purity, potency, and efficacy and can be used for a wide range of emotional and physical wellness applications. Essential Oils contain hundreds of different compounds, providing complex and versatile abilities to combat threats without building up a resistance AND they work with our amazing body to address issues and root causes on a cellular level.
The best part is that they are affordable! Many oils are only PENNIES per dose!

Three ways to benefit from your essential oils
Aromatic
Set the emotional temperature of your home and work place by diffusing your oils! Utilize your amazing olfactory system in your nose with Mother Natures medicine cabinet! Diffusig essential oils can open airways, lift the mood, and freshen/cleanse the air!
4-6 drops is all you need in your diffuser. My go-to oils to diffuse are: Every morning > citrus oil like Citrus Bloom, Citrus Bliss or Motivate oil to start the day off in the right mood! And in the evening we utilize the calming/grounding benefits of Serenity, Peace, Cedarwood & Vetiver to create a calm environment to promote rest in our bedrooms!
Topical
Put your oils directly where you need them! If you have tension on your head apply to temples and back of neck... maybe your little one is having tummy troubles you can massage directly on their stomach or utilize the bottom of their feet for reflexology points! (google for a chart if unsure) We always use a carrier oil > fractionated coconut oil (FCO) to dilute when applying topically. Not only to help with sensitive skin, but it absorbs slower so you get longer absorption benefits! (And you get more bang for your buck when it comes to oil usage! win-win!)
Internal
Add a drop or two in water, (You can also use directly under the tongue or in a veggie capsule and swallow.) Utilize when cooking too! My favorite is adding 3-5 drops of Grapefruit oil to my 32oz stainless steel water bottle! Makes water not so boring and has added health benefits for detox & metabolism! Remember to use a stainless steel or glass container when drinking oils internally. Maybe the other moms at your kids sports ask what you are using on them when they see you applying Rescuer touch/Deep Blue for their growing pains, or you have it on your caring heart to share some grounding oils for a friend who is going through a hard time… After all, Sharing is Caring :) Sharing with your family and friends is easy and never feels like “selling” something when it comes from the heart of giving and helping others. Creating financial and time freedom with doTERRA is a real option and since it is a lifestyle business it can follow you wherever you go and meet you at whatever chapter you are walking through currently in life! I have built for the past 10 years all while changing countries (cultures/languages) for my husbands job across Europe, during pregnancies/newborn stages, and while navigating some of the hardest times in my life so far. doTERRA has always been there with me and for me physically, emotionally and financially! my why...
I am a proud mama to 3 boys and my oil journey started when my first son, Kingzton, was born premature in 2011. I was desperate for a natural, effective way to support my sweet little baby and my own emotions as motherhood severely took a toll on my hormones and body. What started out as a way for me to support my son with natural solutions while focusing on my emotional health quickly turned into a lifestyle in our home. Which then supported me to confidently & successfully have two VBACs with my second and third sons!
That earth-based lifestyle that was empowering me as a mama spread into a beautiful community of likeminded people all over the world. Which then turned into a successful business & stream of income that allowed me to contribute to our household income and still be home with my sons all days while also fulfilling my calling and purpose!
